What do I wish myself and you in the New Year?
After the storm, the sun always comes out and I am waiting for my sun. I look forward to the New Year for the first time, I treat it as a metaphor for saying goodbye and starting something new. I will not change jobs, I will not move out of my house, I will not cut my head bald. But I want changes.

Santa Claus Action II
I love to give and - what the hell - receive gifts, so as soon as I read from Marysia, Fr. St. Nicholas' Action I had to be tempted (Marysia, thank you again for reminding me about the deadline for submitting applications!).
Packing gifts in ... jute - DIY or do it yourself
Last season, I was preparing wedding decorations in a rustic atmosphere and I had a lot of jute left and so far I had no idea what to use it for. On the occasion of taking part in the Santa Claus Gifts Campaign, I was preparing a gift in the cold climate of Russia, so raw jute seemed to be the perfect accessory for me and I decided to use it for… wrapping gifts.

My home is white, black and gray. They give me a sense of harmony, I rest well among them.
But that doesn't mean I don't miss colors. But so far none of them stayed with me for longer. Usually it's seasonal invitations. However, I miss and crave them greatly. Especially pink, purple, blue or lemon. Toned and subdued, as well as lively and juicy.
Today I wanted to introduce you to Dorota Szelągowska's house, which combines my favorite basic colors, namely white, black and gray, with beautiful and expressive colors and patterns. A beautiful combination. Hats off.

Salad with gorgonzola and pear

At lunch, my sister visited me, instead of ordering food on the phone, I made a delicious salad with gorgonzola and pear in 10 minutes, without interrupting coffee conversations.
