Breastfeeding and a date with her husband or return to work

breastfeeding and return to work

There are a lot of reasons why we must leave our Baby with someone other than ourselves. School or college, work or additional assignment, case in court or other official matters, stay in the hospital, own or with an older child, and even a datewith my husband or going to the cinema with a friend - it does not necessarily mean that we have to give up breastfeeding, or that we will have to feed the child with formula milk. Today I will tell you how I organized breastfeeding while running my own business ...

and even coordinating the client's wedding less than 2 months after delivery.

The basis of the Wedding Planner profession is availability and long-term planning - when I assumed the coordination of this wedding, I did not even know that by then I would get pregnant and give birth to another child, which will then be less than 2 months old. Customers' trust in the Wedding Planner is the basis of work in this industry and our company, and I knew that I had enough time to prepare myself and my child for this departure.

Not only this exit was a challenge for me - it happened that I had to drive to the company for a moment, have a meeting or sign documents - I always took a newborn or a few-month-old baby with me, apart from exceptional meetings with clients - then I was traveling with my husband who was in the next room with the baby, and I could approach him at any time and feed him. On the other hand, I could not take my few-day-old son to coordinate the wedding.

Making up for lost time

I knew that remorse would not help anyone here, so when I was with my son, I allowed us to be with him on his terms, always feeding on demand, also to make up for emotional and physical intimacy. I remember when Maks was a few months old and I led her for the first time after giving birth Course for Wedding Planner and for 4 days after 9 hours I was away from home. Immediately after the course, I went with my husband and children for a small vacation to Olsztyn to make up for our closeness.

Feeding at a distance

Until 6 a month, I fed Maks only breastfeeding (I described the adventure with diet extension here), so leaving him even for two hours, I had to leave him my milk.

Expressing milk

Both at Mikuś and Maks, I pumped my food with an electric breast pump - at home, getting ready to go out a few days earlier, and also outside the house. The electric breast pump allowed me to express my milk easily and painlessly in each of these situations.

Each of us has lactation of varying intensity. Mine was, barely enough, one could say (I wrote about my lactation crisis here) - when pumping at home, I always did it after I finished feeding. I couldn't allow myself to express milk between feedings, because then I didn't have enough of this food for the next feed. When I was away from home, I pumped milk every three hours, around the time I would feed Maks.

When I leave the house, I have in mind that the best milk we have is the one I give within 24 hours of pumping [1], so when planning my outings, I tried to plan them to give my baby freshly expressed milk as often as possible, instead of always freeze them and give them to the baby unfrozen. That's why when I expressed my milk just before I left, I didn't put it in the fridge - I saw that Maks would eat it within three hours and during that time nothing bad could happen to the milk. However, if it did not work out, I did not care that I served chilled or frozen milk, because the mother's food stored in the refrigerator, or even unfrozen, is still incomparably better than the artificial one.

Storage of expressed milk

How much milk can stand? [1]

At room temperature - up to 6 hours

In a refrigerator (maximum temperature <10 ° C) - up to 3 days

In a refrigerator (maximum temperature <4 ° C) - up to 8 days

Freezer (maximum temperature -18 ° C) - 6 months

My refrigerator does not contain more than 4 ° C, so for the sake of simplicity I remember this rule as "the 6 principle"- 6 hours, 6 days, 6 months.

It is worth keeping the milk in the fridge at the back, where it is the coldest, not at the door or on it, where it is the warmest.

What to store the expressed milk?

In my career as a nursing mother, I used three different breast pumps. Each of them had the opportunity expressing milk directly into the bottle, one on which I could put a teat on and feed the Baby, as well as a special one food bag - extremely useful when all food bottles are full.

pouches for storing food

The most convenient way was to drain the milk to the breast pump with the bottle attached, but when all of them were full, I occasionally used the bags.

Milk expressed in a refrigerator, i.e. the fastest intended for consumption, it was easiest to store in a bottle. In addition to the one attached to the breast pump, I had a few extra - I carried them in my bag, so it was easier for me and without the risk that the bottle would break and flood the contents of the bag.

food storage bottles storage of breast milk

But when planning to store food in the freezer, I almost always used it special bags for storing and freezing food. They have very nice labels - I wrote down the date of collection and the amount of expressed milk, and you can even do it with a regular pen. I left the field empty for an hour. Since I could store the milk for up to six months, this value did not matter to me. Sometimes I also used them in the refrigerator.

how much breast milk can standfood bags

This is a discovery - I froze flat pouches with food - thanks to this I save a lot of space, the notes on the bag were easier to read, and the food thawed faster - only pluses! So that the bags do not stick together when they freeze, I put them in pieces of paper towel. I also regularly looked at frozen milk and arranged it according to the date of delivery, always the oldest at the top for faster use.

How to defrost mother's milk?

We've got milk it is best to defrost in the fridge - that is, slowly, thanks to which it will retain the most nutritional value. After defrosting, the milk should be consumed within 12 hours. If I was in a hurry, I would put them in warm water - but never warmer than 37 ° C, so that it would not lose valuable value - shaking the bag regularly for faster defrosting.

Absolutely however Do not freeze thawed milk once.

How to serve breast milk?

The expressed milk can be given using a syringe or a tiny cup (as for syrup, you can also buy such containers for administering medicines at the pharmacy - they will work perfectly). I recommend this method especially for newborns, so as not to disturb their learning to suck the breast, or to make the baby lazy with bottle feeding (sucking a bottle is much easier for a baby than the breast - milk almost flies by itself, which may make the baby less likely to suckle the breast, and it also requires a different technique). You can of course also feed bottle - it cannot be denied that although manufacturers compete in the production of breast-like teats, the method of sucking milk from a bottle is different.

Personally, after the adventure of feeding milk with a syringe (when I had too little food after giving birth, I gave the child every expressed quantity), in the second month of life, when breastfeeding did not cause us any technical problems, I started to give Maks my milk in a glass bottle with a teat from time to time. Although at that time I was taking my son everywhere with me and did not have to give him expressed milk, I had in my head the coordination of the wedding and the fact that sooner than later I would have to leave my son for a few hours and wanted drinking from the bottle was not associated with him extra stress. However, I chose a bottle with the smallest possible hole so that the Toddler, eating from the bottle, also had to make an effort.

Why choose a glass bottle?

Glass bottles are ecological and biodegradable, but most importantly - the easiest way to keep them in perfect condition - they are very easy to scrub, they do not scratch from the brush to cleaning, they do not absorb odors, do not collect sediments and do not stain from juices. For our first son, we initially used plastic bottles, which after a few months were only suitable for the trash, and then we switched to glass bottles that we still use today. It is worth having a glass bottle from the same company as the breast pump - the added benefit is that all feeding accessories fit together.

At what temperature should mother's food be served?

We can give the expressed milk in room temperature, but not all children like such cool milk, it's worth it then heat by placing the bottle in warm (but not hot) water. You should never heat milk in the microwave.

After using the bottle, until Maksio is half a year old, once a day I disinfected them in a sterilizer. When Maks started to eat from the floor, I did it less often 😉

When a child refuses to eat from the bottle

I was afraid of leaving my son for the first time and he would refuse to eat from the bottle when I was far away from him and I couldn't help him. Therefore, before I left Maks with Dad for the first time, I made sure that he would be able and wanted to eat from a bottle, training this skill earlier. I know children who were able to protest and during the entire 8 hours of absence we are not to take the bottle, so it's worth checking it out before we leave the Baby for the first time. Some children, especially older than 6 months, are great at drinking milk from a cup or a water bottle.

Expressing milk at work

My work is different in nature - sometimes they are whole days spent in the office, and sometimes outside it, in hotels, at meetings, outdoors or away. Therefore, when leaving home, I always had a breast pump and containers for storing expressed milk.

My first lonely trip to work for the whole day was the one to coordinate the wedding of my clients - there was no intimate place in the wedding hall to pump milk, and I did not want to do it in the toilet, so I quickly understood that working mobile, the car will be my asylum. I also used it for this purpose when I returned to training, and for many months I was expressing milk for even two breast pumps to fit during breaks - I did not always have enough milk at home and care to express milk during the day just enough for the next day was extremely important to me. I have to admit to you that my determination to work with two different breast pumps in the hotel parking lot makes me a bit proud

Initially I used the power supply breast pump - at home and in the office - with battery option - outside the office, i.e. primarily in the car. At that time, I couldn't forget about the battery supply, but unfortunately the breast pump had less power on the batteries, so the pump took longer, and when the batteries were discharged (for example, in winter, when I left the pump in a cool car, it happened much faster) I was unable to express milk .

Because I fell in love with a USB-operated breast pump - by powerbanku, Chargers or even laptop! Since when the USB cable I could connect directly to the phone charger in the car, I gained real comfort and independence. I no longer needed any batteries or an electrical outlet, because outside my home, office or car, any powerbank or even the mentioned laptop was enough for me - you can see it in the photo below - and it works 😀

Lansinoh Compact Electric Breast Pump

I remember the great relief I felt when Maks started to eat solid foods, one portion of my milk was enough for the whole day of training and I did not have to express milk outside the home every 2-3 hours to make up my home reserves. Therefore, if you go back to work, when your child is already half a year and older, you can be much calmer!

What if Mom runs out of milk?

I really didn't want to give the baby artificial milk, especially because of Maks' allergy. My pediatrician was also against it and recommended plant milk for emergencies. A balanced diet, breastfeeding and plant-based milk have been our safe and healthy solution from time to time - this milk stayed with us even after we stopped breastfeeding. There is no need to give your baby modified milk after the end of breastfeeding at the age of one and three months (of course, it is worth asking a dietitian or pediatrician for a balanced diet). Oat milk, millet milk, and from time to time also rice, coconut or almond milk have become a permanent part of the diet of our entire family.

How much is all this?

At first it seemed to me that the breast pump, bottles and pouches for storing food were quite expensive, but I did not know then how many cans of modified milk a child needs per month and I did not multiply them by the price of one. It even 300-500 PLN per month depending on milk! Therefore, without remorse I bought more bags for freezing food and I knew that I still saved a lot of money (and health) compared to buying modified milk.

Which breast pump should you choose?

The basic choice you'll face will be between manual and electric breast pump. Which is better?

Manual or electric breast pump?

The basic difference between them is of course both included in the price and in the comfort of use. Personally, I already took the electric breast pump for childbirth - I had a good feeling, because later it turned out that my lactation did not start immediately after giving birth and it was the breast pump that helped me a lot. I was glad to choose the electric one because I barely had the strength to express - and I did it after each 7-5-3 feed, i.e. for half an hour every 2-2,5 hours. After adding the time needed for changing and caring for the Newborn, I didn't have much time to rest (You can read the whole story of my fight for food here). They were very helpful too two expressing phases - Our baby sucks his breast a little bit differently than when the milk flows smoothly. I will tell you about them below.

I also knew that I would want to breastfeed for at least a year and I would go back to work sooner, so I put on a breast pump that is as quiet as possible. I also wrote to you above about the problems with powering the breast pump outside the home - that's why choosing a USB-powered breast pump connected to the power supply or power bank was a shot for me in 10! However, if you have already started lactation, you do not plan to leave the baby outside of exceptional occasions and you intend to use the breast pump occasionally, the breast pump manual should do just as well.

However, if you care about an electric breast pump, quiet, powered USB cable connected to a power bank, car or laptop, two phases of suction and different power functions, you must see my latest Lansinoh compact electric breast pumpwhich I had the pleasure to test. Thanks to the silicone cover with nice ears, it is definitely the prettiest breast pump I've ever seen.

which breast pump to choose

Lansinoh Two-Phase Electric Breast Pump

Lansinoh breast pump has two phases - one to stimulate the flow of food, and the second to download itthat mimic the baby's mouth movements and imitate the natural rhythm of his food intake. We also have a choice five levels of suctionthat we can use when expressing milk. In this way I could better adapt the device to my comfort. Both phases are switched automatically, so I didn't have to wonder when I should go from one to the other. The breast pump also has an automatic shutdown function that is started when the machine is left unattended for 60 minutes. So if I happened to fall asleep or forgot to turn off the device, I did not have to worry - it turned off by itself!

In addition to the breast pump and all accessories necessary for its operation, the set also includes a free power bank.

two-phase breast pump

An additional advantage is warm and nice breast tip, such a silicone cushion that touches our skin - I have never seen one like this before, and allows for a perfect fit.

Lansinoh breast pump tip

It is also very important that Lansinoh offers spare parts and service support, i.e. full after-sales service, also post-warranty, and in practice it means that if you have a need, you can buy any part, hose, diaphragm or whatever you need for the breast pump.

What is not worth forgetting about?

They absolutely needed me lactation pads - as long as I was breastfeeding Maks only, i.e. until the sixth month, I used them every time I went out without him, and I have always known that these Lansinohs are the best in the world!

First, are packed in separate shirts, making it easy to take them with you to work or a walk.

Secondly, they have two stickers - so that the inserts remain exactly in place, saving us stress during the day.

lansinoh breast pads

And thirdly, they have a shape that perfectly fits the breast - they do not stick out, are thin and do not imprint under clothes, and most importantly - absorb well.

lansinoh breast pads

If this is your first time out, you should also take something to change with you. It was not useful to me yet, but it is worth having such an option in the event of a failure, and in practice - just calm your mind.

The functional compact Lansinoh two-phase breast pump with a power bank and a beautiful silicone case with pink ears can be won!

What should you do to take part in the competition?

To continue participating in the competition, simply answer the question:

What equipment to make life easier for every mother?
So you could experience time with your baby even more fully?

I am counting on your creativity - perhaps one has not been created yet and together we will inspire the world to create it 😉
Although today I would like a tumble dryer, which supposedly replaces a self-ironing clothes machine.
And quietly, sometimes I dream about stopping time and… getting enough sleep.

Leave your answer under this post in the comment to Monday 28 January 2019 to 23: 59,
and I will choose and announce the winner to 31 on January 2019. Leaving a comment is tantamount to acceptance Regulations Competition.

IT IS ALREADY! COMPETITION RESULT!

Thank you all for participating in the fun, I had a great time reading these sensational ideas and totally dreamed. I liked all the answers and I'm sure that each of these things would make everyday life easier for us all.

When choosing a winner, I decided to refer to our word - signpost for 2019 year, and that's a word RELATIONS.

Because Agnieszka Nand I will ask for such a wardrobe "with a magic passage! We go in and we are wherever we want ”. I would let the children fall asleep in it sometimes, so that Grandma could watch them while they sleep, and we could enjoy the time just for the two of us without running up and down. I would have lunch with my mother today, take the test results to the hospital without leaving home, saving 6 hours, not waste time commuting to work or kindergarten, go for a walk with the children in the Faroe Islands today, and have a coffee in New York tomorrow morning. I would publish the results of the competition today in Texas, sipping tea on the porch with Justyna, watching our children go wild on the swings.

I only wonder if the wardrobe could be moved to heaven - Mikuś and Maks would like to play with their older Brothers and Grandpa, and I could again hug the first man in my life and take my first-born sons in my arms for the first time.

I have a breast pump and plan to use it when I return to work. Cover what I am breastfeeding and I don't want to stop. I promised myself that I would feed for as long as I can. So far I am doing quite well - my daughter is already six months old.

What equipment could every mother use? Husband-Robot! He would cook dinner, do the laundry, take piss-off diapers, get up at night for the baby etc. and at this time moms could rest and spend time with the baby on tickles, games, singing, telling funny stories, etc.

sometimes I drift away in dreams
and I'm thinking about things that can't be done
sometimes about a pot that he does everything himself,
on the hand of the gadget, what order is doing,
at the time he stops when he needs to
about a machine for the sun to shine from the sky,
But I would like the webcam in my eyes the most
what will record the first steps in pranks,
first words when dad is not there,
the first porridge is everywhere on the walls,
first dances and fights until dawn,
first walk and first night which was a good night's sleep.
Although it is not equipment that will make my life easier,
It will definitely bring you joy,
After all, you'll never see the first moments again
And neither parent wants to miss them.
In addition, the equipment that reads children thinks to know faster when crying is near.
I have these two little dreams somewhere in my heart
and a scientist, please create them 😉

I only dream of one such machine that would sleep for me. You could set a nap time, she sleeps and I can take over the house, do the laundry, iron and cook, she slumbers an hour for me and I sleep in an hour and rest. 🙂

In order to enjoy the time with the baby as much as possible, you need peace and joy flowing from Mum, giving both a sense of fulfillment and security. Equipment that could provide such a feeling must be a multi-purpose combination and I imagine it like this: an ergonomic carrier with a built-in breast pump and a back massager. Thanks to this solution, we can perform many activities being close to the child, gathering the best food for him in the absence of us and taking some relaxation for ourselves and thus charging our batteries with positive energy for ourselves, the child and partner 🙂

I thought about it all evening ... I remembered my first maternal beginnings (6 years ago) and wondered what could help me most in about a month, when I give birth to my second child ... And in total, I will ask for "one button / button / button", which I could turn off thinking about ironing, cooking, shopping, dirty floor, a pile of laundry, a trillion of things to do, requests to send photos to my grandparents, etc. for a moment, because maybe I would experience my time with my baby even more fully if I just focused on him for 100% at least one day. She ignored the rest. Meanwhile, I lay there feeding my daughter, frustrated with having a carpet full of rubbish. I carried it in my arms angrily that if it were free, I could iron or cook it. I was going out for a few hours' walk feeling guilty that I would be back home again. I myself took the joy of motherhood, shifting the center of gravity to the wrong place. And what's worse, I keep falling into this trap. That is why I am asking for a "switch" of unnecessary frustration at my mothers.

We are just planning another pregnancy ... and I have a few dreams in total (they are a bit unreal, but ... you can dream):
    1. Sleep in tablets to apply in crisis moments
    2. "Something" that will allow you to capture these beautiful moments when a child is so small and be able to return to them ... in a few years ... Something that will allow you to recall: smells and sounds. Something that will allow you to feel the softness of the skin and the delicacy of the first hairs again ... Something that will make the wrinkles cover my face ... I will be able to feel like a Young Mommy again
    3. A decent breast pump ... because I already know that I will want to feed my milk again, but my baby will not be able to eat from my breasts ... (such anatomy ...) and that ... I will return to work quickly (for an hour, two a day, but ... I'll be back).

Hello. Every mother knows that home chores take a lot of time. Could be nicer if we could take the baby everywhere. As a mother, I would like to have a "home and stroller" stroller, which will have a fixed body and changeable wheels (such small swivel around the house and wide, cushioned for a walk. It would use a built-in rocker option. Of course, it should be foldable (for transporting in a car) It will allow you to replace a few furniture / appliances: a cradle, a stroller, a rocker, and thus a lot of space.
    Regards.

It will be a bit from the future but I hope it is not so far away. My idea is a robot or a machine that allows me to change my baby at night. It will be for the benefit of mother and child and from a future father's perspective for me. A child who is dry and full will be happy, parents happy because they will have more time for themselves. Sleeping nights by parents will allow more activity during the day

I think that a device that would make every mother's life easier would be a device that would give us a lot of strength when we lack it. And mental and physical. I know that as a mother we can find a lot of it for our little ones, but if such a machine could add it to us without effort, why not 🙂

Certainly it would be a robot that would bring me a pram and shopping to the second floor of the apartment (without elevator), unpack it and maybe even make dinner. If he would still like to put in the laundry and iron it, it would be great at all. The time when he would replace me in everyday life would spend playing with my son, building this extraordinary bond and I would devote myself fully to Little Treasure. As we have, we know sometimes lack of strength for all this

I agree with the girls that mom could use a robot that does everything. I am so trivial to say that the tool that allows me to enjoy every moment with my beloved son are simply feeding attachments. They were a rescue already in the first XNUMX hours after childbirth and they still accompany us. They helped when I started to doubt that I would be able to attach the baby and feed it. Also praise the creators for the "device" thanks to which I shed fewer tears, I was calmer and from the very beginning I could enjoy being close to my loved ones. best regards

I could use a little "tit" robot that would attach to the breast and during cooking, cleaning, bathing or sleeping (this is the most important thing) when my baby squealed automatically would bring the milk to the baby's mouth. I do not know yet what such a robot would look like, but maybe some mum will have an idea, create a drawing and together we will go to the invention factory and sell the project of a "tit" robot for millions and I admit it shyly: I could really use such a lovely sweet electric breast pump with pink ears, especially since I plan to open my own beauty salon soon, and this will unfortunately involve the extraction of a large amount of milk. I keep my fingers crossed

Equipment? For me, the most important thing is and will be - communication. Equipment that would simply allow the people who are most important to me to be able to devote all their time to me and the baby, and not to worry that the world will collapse without them. The closest friend should not fly back over the ocean so fast, the parent should not come back home for a few thousand km, after a short week of hospitality. I have never needed and underestimated the time spent with my relatives as much as after childbirth 🙂 So, let me think of something so that this distance could be covered in a moment.

Instead of equipment, I would prefer someone to be there to cook something warm, hang the laundry, sometimes iron something because how much wrinkled clothes can be walked around. And most of all, so that you can speak to someone normally, and not backward in development. 😉 I would also like to have more strength and hands to be able to take care of both the old and the young. In addition, with my plans to return to work very quickly, at least partially, a breast pump would be perfect. Or I will have to go to work with this natural "breast pump", which will also be partially possible. 🙂

One handy gadget? In my case, it is no washer dryer, no food processor, no magical breast pump, basically nothing that could help me, because my beloved Husband does everything :-). I only dream of such a small remote control with one On / Off button. Thanks to this, I could turn off the comments that I did not want to hear as a new mother śwież I have been a mother for 3 months, and I had the greatest fight for my breastfeeding, I could imagine. In my family, no one has ever fed and does not feed, and everyone believes that the breast is yes, but why bother when the ready-made milk is now of such good quality. And when I was pregnant I knew that the best investment for my daughter would be feeding her naturally. I went through 2 mastitis, a few stagnation, a fight in the hospital not to administer a small mm, quarrels in the family home that I let the baby still hang on the breast, so far I still have to explain why I do not give the baby a bottle. But I did not give up and despite the initial problems with feeding, I started lactation so much that I have recently been feeding the milk bank and helping other moms 🙂 this is my greatest success 🙂 So such a pilot in a pocket format, so that I could filter voices around and choose only those that were full of support and understanding for breastfeeding - in my opinion, this is the best gadget for a young mother iam best regards!

I dream of a wonderful ironing machine for ironing tetras and clothes 🙂 it's probably in the first place. Right after that the magic self-filling fridge! Of course, only healthy food 😉 what's more - making it delicious dinners. In addition, something that already exists - a vacuum cleaner that cleans up by willpower and does not need a man to be happy 🙂 And maybe some work to bring in the garbage 🙂 as if you had it all, all your attention and time could be devoted to the most important things - being authentic with your baby 150% <3

A wonderful, maybe existing device, I do not know, I do not have an armchair, but such a hybrid swing that would allow you to hold a youth on your hands and hug at the same time relax in a comfortable armchair that massages your back and gently lulls you to sleep together. Relaxation, closeness and love to sleep at one time. And time with the child flies very quickly ... a pity because it is worth keeping him and the dust on the furniture can wait. BEST REGARDS.

Of the equipment that would make life easier, I could use a clothes ironing and folding machine. I honestly hate ironing and this is a hard job for me, and as you know children wear a lot of clothes and the washing machine goes almost every day. And while washing is not a problem, because you just sort clothes, put in the washing machine, pour in the powder, pour the liquid, set the right program and wash it yourself, ironing and folding a pile of clothes effectively takes away my life joy and takes the time I would prefer to spend with child. I know that there is such a machine, but due to its price at the moment it remains in the sphere of dreams. Well, but apparently dreams come true so I wait patiently, maybe my husband will give us such a gift someday 🙂

I am not a mother yet, but I am preparing to take on this most important role in my life. I am really apprehensive and I have no idea what such a mother might really need. I read, take notes, listen to experienced mothers, but this great unknown is still ahead of me. 🙂
It seems to me that my mother does not really need anything but faith in her own abilities and self-confidence. Women gave birth, give birth and will give birth, this is an unchanging experience inherited by generations. Of course, any gadget can make it easier in today's world, that's why I decided to enter the competition 😉
Let's remember, however, that even the best, beloved, wonderful mother just needs peace sometimes. Only so much and so much 😉

Equipment that would make life easier for every mom? Let your imagination run wild, I think it would be a portable charger to which you could connect for a while and recharge your life energy. Just imagine it, you are very tired, irritated, the only thing you dream about is to lie down in a cozy bed and sleep, sleep and sleep ... But you can't do it because your child, like a bunny from a certain battery advertisement, demands your attention and wants to play tag, then hide and seek. Not to mention the pile of laundry and ironing, of course, the pile of dishwashing dishes and the hair that waits for someone to vacuum it. And what are you doing? You plug into this magic charger and cycle is full of energy again, regenerated and ready to go. Why waste precious time on something as senseless and mundane as a dream? Think how many things you could do while you are sleeping blissfully. And seriously, knowing me, even if I had such a charger, I would not deny myself the pleasure that is sleep. Because isn't there anything nicer than falling asleep with your baby hugging you? But for emergency situations, such equipment would be what he found, only then would poor dads feel unnecessary 😛

Time-modifier, my son will become an engineer and work out such a miracle, you'll see 😉
I am mamakpi, i.e. I feed my skimmed milk all the time (incubator, fight for every gram and a lot of starting problems were not conducive to breastfeeding), so at night, when the time for the session comes, I would stop the time (so as not to lose those 30 minutes of sleep 😉), but waiting on Saturday morning with pancakes, I would hurry up so that my three would quickly run downstairs (okay, the two would run down and the third one would yell to bear him 😉), I would stop the time when everyone was sleeping at the same time (and this is a rarity 😉), to fall asleep, read or watch the movie. And when we are with my daughter in the hospital, and we are often, I would accelerate this time full of unpleasant procedures, so that I could be home quickly. I feel that such an invention would replace all the wonderful works 🙂

Seriously, multi-functional works, programmed to perform daily repetitive activities that do not require feelings, such as washing dishes, washing, ironing, vacuuming, because it is not true that the washing machine is washing itself, the dishwasher washes the dishes and the vacuum cleaner vacuums it ... as a rule, we need caregivers of the home, who would be easier to care for the fire, were it not for the fact of daily duties that we have to perform, and which deprive us of priceless moments with our family ...

In my head there are a lot of thoughts about the equipment that could make our mothers easier for us, and besides the super intelligent self-thinking cleaning robot, self-service washer-dryer-ironer and personal machine-cooker that will please various taste buds of the household, I think I would be the most satisfied if it could be was to connect to the charger yourself and charge the batteries to perform all tasks yourself. I love my daughter and the second little one who will soon appear in the world and despite moments of crisis that I have no more strength to follow the plan of the day and so I love to do all this because I do it for them, for their good. Such a solution would be beautiful if we weren't feeling tired, the day would last 48hours, and we could without any remorse fulfill ourselves 100% as a mother, wife and woman of success

A Time Changer could be such a life-facilitating device! Preferably in the form of jewelry, e.g. a beautiful hourglass on a gold chain or a delicate classic watch. It would be enough to change the time and date to which we want to go back and ob to move us in time, we could be two at the same time. Then we could do everything we plan without eternal remorse that we lose something or neglect someone. I have been dreaming about such equipment for seven months I am a mother of a premature baby and a mother expressing milk. The breast pump is irreplaceable, and I won't go anywhere without it, but a Time Changer would be THIS! Every day I spend over two hours expressing milk! It is not a wasted time but it is paid for at the expense of closeness with your son or even precious minutes of sleep

The number of appliances that make life easier for modern mothers is shocking - sterilizers, pots absolutely - everything - capable, self-propelled vacuum cleaners, washing machines and dryers in one ... But since we are limited only by our imagination - I think that the best solution would be a bilocation device! Ba !!! Even for pollocation !!! So that I do not have to choose between playing with my son, cooking dinner and putting in the laundry 🙁 Currently I have Jurek on board, who is to be born in April. The doctor categorically demands a cesarean, so after the first child - I already know what awaits me. First, the fight for food, after returning home, chaos, pumping, a crying newborn and a longing old man. After 2 weeks, the husband will return to work. And what's next? I admire and greet most cordially the mothers who "embrace". For the rest, the bilocator 🙂 should be invented

Have you ever watched the Narnia stories? Our perfect equipment is just such a perfect wardrobe with a magical passage! We go in and we are wherever we want. The older son has a performance for Grandparents Day the day after tomorrow and he is very sorry that neither grandpa nor grandmother will be there. Grandma lives 600 km away from us, and Grandpa lives across the ocean. It wouldn't be a problem with such a wardrobe! Second thing ... mother-in-law always offers to help, and then says "It's like I live closer" - there is a wardrobe and the problem is over! Going to the movies in the evening with my husband? No problem, we put the young ones in the wardrobe and spend the night with their grandfather in Brooklyn. Birthday gift? Maybe a quick jump to Disneyland? That would be something. We lacked our chosen clothes at the sales? No problem, mik to the closet and we can skip a hundred Zars during the day 😉 The older son likes foreign cuisine, he would be delighted if his favorite Chinese food came from China. Happy parents are happy children. Dad could always watch his favorite match live, no matter where in the world. And mom? Maybe she would jump out from time to time by herself, for example over the sea? To breathe, eat a waffle and gain energy for the new day.

Counter for fatigue, sadness and burnout transmitting alarm signals for the whole "village" of mother and child. Often the biggest problem is the inability to ask for help. I came to the edge of depression and only then did my beloved sister organize partial care for my child. How is it, I mother can not cope with my own child? Is something wrong with me? And so, the year of maternity leave can be a year of tears and torment, as I experienced. Last month, though, I have moments during the day for myself, which totally changes energy for my child, husband and life! With this counter I would save a lot of tears.

Hello. I have two sons, 17, monthly Antosia and 5, one week old Tymuś, the equipment that made life easier for me would be a combination of a swing rocker for a baby with a built-in noise, a carousel, a handle supporting the baby's pacifier, with handles that massage the tummy. It is best for the equipment to have as many functions as possible 😉 that it would also have moments to rest so that later it would take care of children more intensively 🙂

Although I still don't know what it means to be a mother, because I will be her in a few weeks for the first time, I already know that I could use one piece of equipment in my entire layette. A device, an electrostimulator that would turn off fear, stress and frustration, and set Mum to think positive. I think that calmness, patience and self-control are the most important features when caring for a newborn baby. Especially when we do not know what awaits us, and the fear of the first feeding, the first night outside the hospital, the first exit without a baby always has big eyes. It is known that a happy mother is a happy child

I spend a lot of time with my baby and in fact all these facilities like clone, robot, good extension, stopping time etc. would be helpful to me, but there is only one thing that can give me and the baby even more joy and fulfillment. More time with brother and dad. We will also ask for a teleport. The husband often goes on matters all over Poland and today, e.g.: one way takes 4 hours, also the baby went to sleep without oxidizing his daddy. His brother travels to another city a few times a week for training and the journey takes him around 2 one way. And if they had a teleporter, how much more time could they spend with us, ehh. What a beautiful dream. :)

Equipment that will make life easier for every mother?
Ohhhhh! I know one who was my friend after the birth of my first daughter ... I did not want it at all, I was not happy that my daughter abandoned her breast after leaving the ICU, 2 months of trials which ended with her and my tears, and often exhaustion and hopelessness that it will be ok ...
And then the breast pump came to my aid! I was expressing milk and giving it to my daughter in a bottle ... for several reasons it lasted only 6 months .. it's like double feeding all this time ... so I sold my friend and our journey with frozen food + MM started ... and then? Arm! A month later I found out that I was pregnant again .. and then .. but how? But it is not possible ... but it is possible ... I am approaching the end of the first trimester, and my daughter will soon be 9 months old ..
And you know what Agnieszka? Despite the fact that I broke up with the previous breastfeeder "in an argument", I can't imagine not using this miracle of technology after the birth of my second child!
If only breast pumps could be smaller .. so to hide them under the bra and while playing with the baby the power to express milk ... ahh such a miracle of technology would be a real treasure! :))
For now I dream about my second baby, but I know lansinoh and I'd like to use this breast pump 🙂

What equipment to make life easier for every mother?
Since I became a mother, I have already gone through a few of these "gadgets for mothers". I still recommend it to all mothers and think that it should be included in the layette for each mother - the TULA baby carrier. I was carrying my first daughter in it, and the second one is waiting in line. Thanks to the baby carrier, with my husband and CHILD, I climbed the peaks of the Austrian Alps, which we love, which we visit every year during our holidays, thus I could breastfeed my "lifted" child at altitudes of 2800-3000 m above sea level (of course with the "help" of careful observers what I do 🙂 TULA allowed me to take regular and daily walks in my local Beskids, it allowed me to calm my child to sleep in every "crammed" situation, as well as to calm down when I had to move away from the child and leave him with his dad or babysitter, Główna the advantage of the baby carrier from my point of view - it allows me to be an active mother, allows me to be constantly on the move, allows me to do what I love - we all know HAPPY MOM means HAPPY CHILD - TULA makes it very easy for me.
Greetings together with a happy family: *

Soon my first toddler will appear in the world and reading all textbooks, watching millions of films and reviewing your entries I think that first of all I could use a whole group of home appliances that would allow me to focus on the baby and devote my time only to him. Such an electric hostess who vacuums, sets the laundry, irons, cooks the dinner for the whole family and sets the dishwasher by slowing down a few hours a day of such valuable time on the occasion 🙂 In addition, the shopping application warning about the dangerous ingredients of all baby items (cosmetics, chlorinated diapers, tissues with hormones ) which after scanning the code would immediately let you know about the threats. For now, I am terrified of the number of new duties and I am stressed if I can save my baby from all threats lurking in every corner and resulting from my ignorance, so for future mothers it would be most useful for me as a program of calming films / audiobooks preparing for a new role that would effectively mute nerves and supported in expectations 🙂

For me as a mother of premature babies with 27tc, the best equipment would be to be able to turn off the stress center in the body. I think that for every mother, whether premature or full-term baby, this skill would be useful
the girls were transported to another hospital right after delivery, I didn't even see them, and the doctors didn't want to give me any information. It was the worst time for me, I saw them only after 4 days. Even in the hospital, when it took me a few minutes to get out of bed, I knew that I would not give up and started my adventure with the breast pump. Because of difficult cc, I couldn't get out of the car myself, but I had to go to them. Initially, when they were at the ICU, we couldn't be there all the time. Every meeting is stress and crying, every phone call is heart palpitations, because maybe they are calling from the hospital about the deterioration of their health. These were difficult 79 days. Now I can only remember it, although tears are still running down my cheeks. The girls are now 5 months and are wonderful, and my adventure with the breast pump continues to this day. The most difficult are visits to doctors in Wwie away from us 120km, when there is a problem with the car in the car. I have to work in hospitals and hide in bathrooms. Even though my breast pump has battery power, it doesn't work that way.
Best regards with Michalinka and Marcelinka 🙂

Every mother is different and every child is different too. For one, home-made lunches will be important, others will choose "jars". Someone will have to have a sterile order, and for another it will not matter. Thousands of duties, someone is alone, someone has a mother, mother-in-law, husband to help. One mother has a calm, healthy baby, another lives under the dictation of the calendar with constant visits to specialists. However, there is one thing that every mother misses, especially the one she scoffs ... ..sen .... The capsule you enter and in 5 minutes regenerates your strength, and you get up well rested, joyful and full of energy. I wish this for myself and every mother :).

For me, as a mum, I could use a breast pump that would express milk in every possible situation and position. For example, during sleep, which mother always has too little ... Of course, the expressed food should be kept at such a temperature that the baby could be given warm milk. He should also be able to withstand the antics and variations with the old boy ... Because apart from a little sleep, the mother usually also lacks time for children. Because if you clean up or cook dinner, you can when your husband returns from work, the time spent with the kids will never make up for it. So definitely a special task breast pump is my dream.

Ojjj there are a lot of items that in my opinion every mother should have that make life easier for a newly minted mother and give a moment of respite. Unable to decide on one and only, so I will describe some of my personal hits. First of all, a scarf. Yes. Hit hits. Inseparably with us from the first weeks of Fran's life. Good for everything. For colic, for whining, for putting to sleep, for making a quick dinner, for covering the apartment or simply for hugs. Without her, my life would be more difficult. The second useful item was a feeding pillow. Apparently nothing .. Nobody discovered America, and how much easier. Immediately after the birth, it was invaluable for me and it made my daily feedings much easier (and there were a dozen of them a day). And last but not least ... Inflatable swimming ring. Why exactly this? Because it saved my aching and massacred body right after giving birth. Patent suggested by the midwife after I gave birth. "Let your husband go tomorrow and buy you." He bought it and made my life incredibly easier in the hospital and then two more weeks after the hospital. Where every attempt to sit down was costly. A ring for a butt and life was so much better. It should be a must have for a lay-out (and nobody told me about it before!). At the same time, it is a development gadget because it is enough to adapt it more to the female anatomy, make it in a variety of more marketing colors and it would surely spread like hot cakes. And from this place I greet all of our mothers, because we are all amazing because who, if not us, can handle everything and endure everything, each of us is an unbreakable machine. Tired, barely zipiacal, with coffee fumes but unbreakable. I found out about it the hard way

It seems to me that every mother needs patience support. Kitchen and household robots, or simply my husband or my loved one, help in everyday chores. However, the most important thing is to give your child love and learn to show it yourself. I am a mother of two beloved Toddlers and the third baby will be born soon. What I needed most was someone who would constantly remind me of patience, being patient, calm and understanding for children in difficult times. I know that the role of the husband is irreplaceable here, but as you know, he is not always "available"

    Welcome.
When answering your question about the competition, I will start with the fact that I am the mother of 9-month-old Wojtek and my wife for over a year, and for 5 months living in their own corner, oh for which I could use Optimus Prime, which would take care of renovation in the apartment, inserting a mountain of laundry , cooking dinner, entertaining Wojtek, hanging out the laundry, washing the dishes, collecting Wojtek's toys, feeding Wojtie (this will be difficult because Optimus Prime does not have a breast pump) but it would quickly take him to go shopping for fruit, take care of hygiene and put him to sleep ... And the wife could have time for her husband not only at night. Reading this, I am Optimus Prime, it is me as a robot, or when other mothers come up with, for example, a timer my child needs. He wouldn't be able to do it without me. Wojtek needs a mom who can do all these things, pausing to spend a while together. We can have robots, we can have pressure cookers, slow cookers, but isn't it better to be such a superhero for your child with whom we can cook, do the laundry, enjoy and laugh while bathing? What we need is strength and joy, because if we don't do this laundry one day, we'll do it later anyway. We can do it at any time of the day or night. best regards

The next would stop the speeding time to be able to sleep soundly. Yet another time they could peacefully bring order to the house! A TIMER CLEANER could also be useful on "problematic" walks, I think every mom sometimes would like to silently evacuate from the fire of passers-by. TIMER is a must have for all Mam! Anyone have such a device on sale? I will gladly buy back. Can be used, in medium condition 😉

'Sometimes it may seem as if there is no one with you who is always waiting for you. But do you know who is waiting anyway? Washing. The laundry is always waiting for you. ' This quote from the blog father perfectly describes my everyday life. With two toddlers, I wash it every day, at least once, more often two or even three ... I hang it on the dryer which takes up almost the entire corridor, dry it again, dividing it into suitable people, fold it, hang it, take it around the rooms ...
I dream of a compact machine that would sort the contents of a basket with dirty things, wash, iron, fold / hang it on a hanger and take it to the appropriate wardrobe… It would be a huge time and energy saving for me.
And more realistically - I would need someone who would take care of my boys once a week, so that I could go out for an hour myself, charge my batteries so that the time spent later together would be 100% quality time, I would always with a smile and energy was with my rogues, not just with them.

  • 24.01.2019

Oh, I could use a time machine or something to stop the time to sleep for a while and clean up 😀 I had problems with feeding, I have a large bust and my daughter did not want to catch her breasts ... there was crying on both sides, and finally I bought the most ordinary breast pump and pumped 6 months every 2,5 hours day and night. My support to feed my daughter with my milk was the breast pump and that's why I wrote ODĘ for him! 🙂
    Ode to the Breast Pump

    The breast pump is patient

does not envy the abundance of breasts

it does not rise with pride but with milk

    shamelessly embraces your breasts

I don't want anything in return

he is not angry with your moods

will not remind you of being late

    endures everything, believes in you

He will endure all your fury

    at work he never stops

I give Your milk without regrets

    a sense of freedom guarantees

    he discreetly does his job

    will murmur in your ear

when you hold him to your heart

And you, my Bobask, do not listen to these applause

because although the breast pump is awesome, you are irreplaceable,

but he needs his mother when you don't want to drink from your breasts,

or Your mother must go away for a moment and give you her milk.

Now I am waiting for the second baby in my tummy, I feel that history will repeat itself, ..

And so: mum No. 1 would easily feed the baby, mum No. 2 would build the highest tower in the world with a rebellious 2-year-old, and mum No. 3 would practice writing letters and numbers with a 6-year-old. Hmm, maybe more of these moms would be useful ??? Because that's what mum will cook the most, mum will clean up the most, mum will do everything best ...

Super invisible hidden breast pump without wires, controlled by phone. The one with which you can easily walk around the house and even carry a child. It would have to be a real factory. A multi-task robot. A real combo.

Because which, sometimes we did not dream of a machine that I would check several times during the night whether the quilt is still in place. And not once did she think of a robot that would sort all toys in the evening. Puzzle puts into the right boxes. Mascots will be evenly arranged on the shelf. Oh yes! Come such a machine here at least once a week. On Friday 🙂 when the level of fatigue I have is high.

Or maybe the machine that will clean up our toddler's BLW after a meal ... Hmm, the child will embrace what "happened" during this eating procedure 🙂

hmm, and I also dreamed about a wardrobe that would put too small clothes (obviously folded in a signed cardboard box). And from inside it would come those that fit in size at the moment. ABOUT! Such a wardrobe. Especially for the first two years of renting a child urgent 🙂;]

    … I guess I swam a little !!! 🙂
Let it happen. Let it burn. 🙂;]

From the very daydreaming, it makes it feel as if it is warm at heart and easier in these sometimes difficult duties

I am the mother of Marcel 6
And in my opinion the must have of every mother is a pressure cooker.
Being with a small baby, every mother should eat a warm dinner. And a pressure cooker is the best solution, because within 20 min you can prepare a full-fledged meal. And it's not boring, but also colorful and delicious.
I will be happy to share recipes for one-pot dishes :)

      recommend
In total, I could have one pot - pressure cooker and the other for cooking porridge or rice or pasta.
In addition to soups or one-pot dishes, he prepares sausages, e.g. ham
After giving birth, it was salutary for me. I wanted to eat healthy because of breastfeeding and I didn't have to
spend a lot of time in the kitchen

What equipment to make life easier for every mother?
I think it's hard to choose one universal invention. As a future mother, at the beginning I would like to devote myself fully to the baby and fulfill the need for closeness in 100%. I think that in that case I could just use a robot that will do all the work for me. I think I'm too demanding? But washing, cleaning, cooking and ironing are activities that take a lot of time. Time I could devote to my daughter. It's such a modest dream that a small, agile robot would do this job for me 🙂

It would be great, but the husband is not so organized to embrace it all 🙂 not to mention the ironing ...
